Microsatellite Genotyping
Results are supplied as binned alleles for each sample. Sized peaks in base pairs and, when requested, peak height and peak area is available. Data is in electronic format as an Excel table.
Fragment Analysis
Results are supplied as binned alleles for each sample. Sized peaks in base pairs and, when requested, peak height and peak area is available. Data is in electronic format as an Excel table, run files in .fsa format are also available.
Electropherogram data can be supplied as a .PDF file on request. Acrobat reader is required to open these files.
Genome-Wide SNP Genotyping
The AGRF employs innovative Affymetrix software incorporating the brlmm and brlmm-p algorithms in the analysis of our genome-wide SNP genotyping services to ensure optimal results.
Results are supplied as coded SNP calls at each SNP. Call confidences and SNP information is also included. Data is in electronic format as a text tab delimited table for each individual. Additionally an overall summary table is provided. The raw data is also included in electronic format as data transfer (.DTT) files. Upon request 50K – 500K data can be generated in Merlin and GeneHunter formats.
Further analysis employing Partek Genomics Suite is available on request from the Bioinformatics department.
Targeted / Functional SNP Genotyping
The AGRF employs innovative Affymetrix software in the analysis of our targeted SNP genotyping services to ensure optimal results.
Results are supplied as coded SNP calls at each SNP for each individual. Normalized signal strength and SNP information is also included. Data is in electronic format as a text tab delimited table for each individual. Additionally an overall summary, a quality control metrics summary, the genotyping algorithm parameters and a genotype call conversion table are provided.
Custom SNP Genotyping
Results for Custom SNP Genotyping are provided in an excel spreadsheet over four sheets. An example of these results are portrayed below:
