Plant Growth and Stress
The AGRF Adelaide Node houses the controlled environment facilities. Through this Node, the AGRF provides services to a client base of:
- plant and animal breeders
- plant and animal producers
- researchers
- ecologists
- microbial ecologists
- environmental biotechnologists
This service is of scalable capacity based on 50 m2 of controlled environment plant growth / stress facilities and a large scale radiative frost-simulation chamber. An example of this service can be viewed: thermal imaging movie of an ice front moving through a bean plant.
