AB3730xl
The AGRF utilises the 96-capillary Applied Biosystems 3730xl DNA Analyzer which can be adapted for high throughput genetic analysis. This platform delivers best in class technology for a broad range of applications.

AB7900
For Real-Time PCR, AGRF uses the Applied Biosystems 7900 system. This peltier-based thermal cycler contains an optical system consisting of a 488 nm argon-ion laser excitation source, with fluorescence detection via a spectrograph and CCD camera. The temperature range on this instrument is 4°C-100°C with a ramp rate of 2.0°C/sec.
