The AGRF Bioinformatics group provides data analysis support for many applications. Services include:
- Genome assembly and finishing
- SNP calling and discovery (including whole genome and exome analysis)
- Hybrid assemblies incorporating Sanger with next-gen sequencing
- Exome sequencing analysis
- RNA Seq analysis
- Methylation analysis
- Microsatellite detection
- Copy number variation analysis
- Large scale primer design
- Web-based EST annotation database
- Semi-automated genome annotation
- Primer walking and transcript reconstruction
- Gene expression analysis including Affymetrix, Illumina, and Agilent
A key focus for AGRF's Bioinformatics service is to continue to expand its service capabilities as a means of addressing the everchanging client needs and requests. As such new services are constantly under active consideration.
