SMRT Cell Program for Isoform Sequencing with Kinnex

Collaborative Sequencing Initiative*

 

We're launching the AGRF Collaborative Sequencing Initiative (CSI), a pooled SMRT cell program that provides access to PacBio long-read at significantly reduced cost, without needing to fill a full cell themselves. AGRF manages all scheduling, pooling and QC, so there's no operational burden on your end.

For full-length isoform sequencing with Kinnex, this is a particularly compelling opportunity, whether you're characterising transcript diversity in a complex tissue, resolving splice variants in a disease cohort, or generating a more complete transcriptome than short-read RNA-seq can provide. Groups that have wanted to explore long-read transcriptomics but couldn't justify a full cell run now have a practical pathway in. 

If your program has been generating short-read metagenomic data and hitting the limits of what it can tell you, this is the natural next step. 

We're running the first CSI cohort before 5 June with special pricing available for participating groups.

  5. Additional charges will apply for sample extraction or custom bioinformatics. 

  6. Customers must be a resident of Australia or New Zealand.

  7. Customers must be employed by a university, medical research institute, publicly or government funded research institute or hospital.

  8. Customers must be registered on AGRF’s client portal (www.agrf.org.au).

  9. Costs associated with delivering the samples to AGRF are the responsibility of the applicant, as are any requirements to return the samples to the applicant.
